A technique book for transverse flute. Almost all the exercises are based on historical sources and cover all important areas of practice: articulation, finger technique, intonation, and tone production. The book makes it possible to practice basic sound and technique exercises in a historically informed manner. Prof. Michael Schneider recommends the edition (“belongs on the music stand of every transverse flute player”) as does Prof. Karl Kaiser (“…convincing system.
